WebHostingPad Customer Reviews

8 Stars out of 5

How do you go wrong with these guys ! Exceptional customer service and EXCEPTIONAL pricing ! You would think you won't get GOLD for the price of COPPER but I tell you this hosting service changes that. Always solved my questions instantly. The Cpanel is straight forward and most importantly I got EVERYTHING that was promised before I paid !

You have to suffer to get the UNLIMITED bandwidth they claim

read the terms and conditions ...see exerpts below: "Any Web site that uses a high amount of server resources (such as, but not limited to, CPU time, memory usage, and network resources) will be given the option to reduce the resources used to an acceptable level, or upgrade its service to a VPS plan. WebHostingPad will be the sole arbiter of what is considered to be a high server usage level. ..." "All our hosting accounts do come with unlimited disk space and bandwidth. But we start each account with a set limit " "All accounts will be only allowed to use 10% of cpu and memory and can not exceed a session longer than 10 min. This includes all uses.."If you've read all the reviews here, one customer said he exceeded limit so often that causes his site to be unavailable. For an ave. of only 100 visits/day, he had to complain to them to increase bandwidth often until they just told him that he had to upgrade to VPS. How can only 100 visits beat an unlimited bandwidth?

Great Support Line

I had a miscommunication with one of the support guys last night and woke up to an e-mail from them wanting to charge more money. After calling back up, the customer support rep and I figure out that I didn't have to do the extra work that I was attempting to do. The rep proceeded to give me good advice and walk me through my issue. No charge.

Just Very Pleased!

So I was at 1and1.com for about 4 years, or more, and I just discovered your hassle free, unlimited space, so I moved on over here. Software and Userfrendliness do not get top score, because I absolutely detest CPanel. But I am pleased with the phone calls and the help given. Maybe I only hate CPanel because I got so used to the 1and1 back end controls. I'll get used to it eventually. Traffic is N/A because I am still setting up everything and have not seen it in action. Anyways, each phone call has been great and fast.

Customer Support for Sales is Great

So far, the company is very responsive to our support requests. The sales person I talked to was friendly, courteous and helpful. He really went above and beyond. The only disappointment is that this e-mail from tech support: "Unfortunately we do not provide admin support over the phone."

Gave Up On My Old Host

Ater the third client called, I discovered that my current host, who has provided fairly good service for 10 years, is down, and down hard. Even their Customer Service and Main Sites are down. They have NO phone support, (or even an available number) so when the 10th client called, and a big one threatening to pull the business, I moved their site here to Web Hosting Pad. A few oddities to get used to, but (now sit down) They (WHP) actually answered the phone, will talk nerd to me if I want and Tonight I moved 5 sites to their servers. So far - HAPPY AS A CLAM! Plus, with the money I will be saving, I can offer the clients a mont's credit and barely feel it!

I couldn't be a happier

I had to call up with a very (IMO, especially after finding out my problem) stupid question, and got great service, didn't feel berated and hung up with a smile on my face. I have had the company for a year and a half and have recommended to friends.

great choice for webhosting

Using Webhostingpad I was easily able to design and publish my own website. I don't know very much about this, so I was intimidated, however Webhostingpad's domain hosting is easy to use and their tech support staff was quite friendly and helpful. Thanks!
