JustHost Review

Customer service is horrendous. I have moved to a different provider. I still have support tickets that are over two months old that cs has responded to but not followed through with. The ticket system is flawed. I moved all of my domains from this provider. Due to ineptness by cs, I still can not log in to the main justhost site because my couple month password issue still hasn't been resolved. Luckily, I can still access cpanel and WHM. Good luck if you are stuck with justhost.

I always thought that Justhost were a pretty simple yet good host but until I had all of my sites hacked. It didn't matter if it was Joomla, Wordpress or just an empty directory with an under construction html file as the index.html was replaced in the root of each and every site I had. I would have normally put this down to a one off but the shocking thing is that the hacks on Justhost seem to date back as far as 2008 and it's still happening. I will have to think twice before renewing my account with them and I would not recommend them to anyone know. I gave five stars for price as they are very cheap... but obviously the price to pay for this is security.

I spent my money and I took my chances, I regret ever doing it. I was on line with email support monthly, the site would just drop my site for no apparent reason and tell me that the bill wasn't paid or that I had no authorization. I had many problems that occurred in the evening, no support from America, just from Russia, they were always unsympathetic, never had them fix anything for me, was always locked out until the next day. They would not let me take my credit card off the site, saying they needed it for billing and for "legal" purposes. I had to cancel my card and get another to replace it so I could cancel my account. STAY AWAY FROM JUST HOST, they are JUNK HOST!

Just Host suspended my "unlimited account" without any notice or chance to fix issues that does not comply with their terms of service. They are now saying that my site is using too many resources and that I have to leave them as a hosting company. They then redirected me to a page that had dedicated hosting, but its 50 dollars a month more than if you go directly to the same hosting company as far as I can tell. The supprt guys are rude and close the live chat window on me, the terms department is only open sometimes and has a 3 hour delay. I would suggest using another company. I have been a cleint for over 3 years and to do this now is just crazy.

Using JustHost for quite sometime. When I signed up their servers were fast and good. After sometime I found that my wordpress blogs were taking too much time to load and my emails weren't being received by my friends. Then someone hacked my account and put a malicious folder on my space and I reported it the instant I saw it but they didn't even responded. Then I again submitted a ticket and they replied after three days saying that their logs show that the last time that folder was accessed it was from my IP. Morons thats the reason I know it was there because I saw it and of course I used my machine to log in so my IP. I asked them for refund and now they are sending me automated emails saying that they have forwarded my request to appropriate department but so far they haven't refunded anything. I strongly advise everyone to stay away. They should be rated negative.

Stay away from this hosting unless you are always ready to get SUSPENDED anytime without any information and explanation. No solution or whatsoever. They keep you waiting and waiting. I'm moving all my businesses as far as I can from this hosting.

They try to lock you in. When my domain name expired, I tried to switch to a just domain name plan, which has been a terrible experience. They don't let you park your domain somewhere else, so my site's been down for a few weeks pending transfer to someone better. I would not recommend using this provider!

They are just amazing, they can do any thing with you after getting their service. They can charge your credit card without am Email, They can not reply you ticket, and even then can suspend your account without any prior notice.

People who have trouble are more likely to post reviews, so for balance I'd just like to say I've had no problems that haven't been sorted out very quickly. Technical support is very responsive.

I own hundreds of sites and host some more for my clients. For some reason, I had the stupid idea to sign up with those people (can't call them a hosting company) and host a couple of sites on their servers. That was the worst decision I could ever have made and the worst two weeks of hosting I have ever had. As everybody else said: servers going down, no reliable tech support, canned answers, rude answers, you name it, if it's bad they do it. Don't even stay away from them, run away, as fast as you can! PS: I chose a 1 star rating because it's the lowest. Would have chosen -10 if it had been a choice!
