IX Webhosting Review

The hosting plan & services are good... If the domain registration price is reduced to equate most other hosting provider and domain registrars, we may not need to use other registrars for domain names.

Prices could be better, especially domain registrations. Sometimes hard to find what I need to know in the documentation because instructions are written assuming a skill/experience/knowledge level I do not have yet.

Have always been very satisfied with quality and reliability. Tech support is friendly and helpful. Every time I've had a problem, it has been because of my lack of knowledge but they have always been willing to walk me through solutions.

Help 24h ... The ticket system is faster, resolve, easy to understand. I use the chat one time, Pavel make the work fast. Control Panel ... only 2 experiences with hostings,,, for me IX is easy to understand. Bad... They not upgrade to PHP5 or MYSQL5 automatic. You need to "discover" that situation and ask for the upgrade. I sad because my 3 free domain now have a cost... but this is the economic situation in all world.

I just made the move over to IX web-hosting, and so far i have had no regrets, they have been there for me anytime I have had a question or needed tech help, these guys are 2nd to none, I'm a customer for life, thanks IX web-hosting

I've been hosting with IX for the last 6-8 years and have always been informed of all upcoming changes or down times (only happened twice in that time and for less than a day each). Whenever I need help I access the live chat or post a trouble ticket and am helped out immediately. I have never asked a question that can't be answered. What a super hosting team!

Have been very happy with the total experience except for the user friendly part. Maybe if I was a little more GEEKY it would be easier but I'm an old dog and you know what they say about old dogs...LOL But then any time I've had a problem , a phone call or chat cleared it right up. I highly recommend your hosting plan to everyone. Excellent price for my needs.

Well i am associated with ixwebhosting for past 4 years now.. and till date there is not even a single issue which they guys couldn't resolve in the perfect time frame... i dont know why they guys don't initiate reseller hosting in shared hosting... if they could do it then it will be great great thing for any of us. if they can't start reselling then they should atleast allow us to create multiple control panel logins so that i could give the email management to an employee but as its a single login for all my website, i can't trust on that guy for databases... otherwise ixweb is the perfect hosting solution for individuals. i only run my own websites on this server but for client's website, i host on my another shared hosting server from another provider.... this is the thing which i myself dont like

I have been using ixwebhosting for years, and one thing i can say is that they have amazing support. All channels too...Sales, Billing, and Tech. They always resolve the situations that come up and are very helpful. Service is great. A bit pricy per month compared to others, but I think the live supports makes up for it. They're really good. The only thing I don't like, infact i really don't like, is the email platform. It is SO slow. Other than that though, it's amazing.

I have used IX for two customers for three or four years. The tech support is very good. The site is up most of the time. The PHP software is old on my sites and won't be upgraded for several months, which means no wordpress above 3.1, which is really a bad idea. so running the blogs elsewhere until the update occurs, then will bring them back here. i am writing here about my customers. i run villagehiker.com at gkg.net.

Almost all of my websites are currently hosted on ixwebhosting. 2 domains are dedicated server yet load almost very slow and often I see "CANNOT CONNECT TO DATABASE: TOO MANY CONNECTIONS" WHAT CONNECTIONS???I only have a few users on my social networking site and not all of them are online at the same time. I never experience this when I still hosted my website on a cheap indonesian shared hosting. so how come a dedicated server is worsen than shared server? RIDICULOUS! The good part on this hosting is only one; the customer service. they are nice, friendly and understanding. overall, if you have much time on waiting, I recommend you to use this hosting.
