IX Webhosting Review

I have been using ixwebhosting for more than 5 years now to host a few websites for my clients (graphic Designer)and my experience continues to be a pleasant one. I highly recommend ixwebhosting.

Live chat has always been a great way to solve problems quickly and efficiently. The guys have always been professional and just helpful, in my experience. Keep it up.

I'm a web developer, my job involves setting up websites for my customers from the very purchase of a hosting plan and I always recommend IX, because they're reliable, have great technical support, lots of features on their hosting plans and the pricing is fair. I wish there were more options for the included email services on the hosting plans (specifically anti-spam tools). My only criticism about them is the speed of their MySQL servers which don't run on the same local hosting account but on a separate domain, which makes them very slow at some points. Other than that this is a great company and a good bang for your buck.

IX Web Hosting is a very not only bad but evil hosting. They are very dishonest and if you want to break your business stay with them. The downtimes are many, everyday and the attention you get is like the chicks by the foxes. The maximum you get are pattern robots answers. You find in the web hundreds of complaints against them, but they spend much money in paid fake pages that recommend them. Why are not this millions invested in the quality of their services? Their compromise is to earn your money and...Byyyyee!!! Evilix

I am using ixwebhosting since 2005, although they had huge problems 2-3 years back most of them seem to be fixed. The control panel they have is very very easy to use, the best I have used. I have to say, pages load fine on there servers, although the FTP is slow. Customer service is good, prices excellent, regarding the software end I will not say anything since I never used any of them. I see allot of people complaining regarding outages, I have to say again, they did have this problem, for the last year or 2 I haven’t seen it though.

Excellent availability, an unbelievably good price and customer service that's just second to none. I wish my ISP, phone company, power company, tax accountant, vet, landlord and the local city council were all run by IX because life would be so much easier. I rate them so highly that if you assume I'm on drugs or married to IX's CEO, you'd be justified - but I assure you neither is true, they are really just that good. Special thanks to Marat for helping me work out how I'd messed up my DNS server and fixing it in real-time over chat, within minutes.

I have been a client of IX webhosting for a year now with my website newsofthemedia.com. To be honest, I am not satisfied at all. The hosting offers me unacceptable loading times, I caught them many times doing maintenance without notice. One of these was a 20 minute downtime for my website. Obviously, not even one gift or coupon code or whatever to apologize. Also, the Unique IP offer is limited to C-class IPs, which is pretty much useless for SEO. Finally, the Panel is not a C-Panel and is not easy to manipulate.
