iPage Review

From my experience Ipage has the best support. I've changed number of different hosts and usually it's a struggle to get agent even on the phone not to mention support itself… so, I was surprised to see how quick and responsive Ipage team is. Great job and I hope they will keep it up.

Watch out, buried deep deep in their website it says the $3.50 a month is an introductory price and it jumps up to $6.95 after your initial contract expires. I think this information should be more prominently displayed. Their phone order and technical support folks on the phone were good though.

Ipage has been anything but fast for me. I use Joomla for all my site design, and Ipage has been really slow loading my sites(even though there not too much on them) and like every few days when I try editing my site its been giving me a 500 internal server error(which isn't my fault) There support is slow(well around 15-20min wait) and they can't do a thing and take 5 minutes to tell you how to do something, I think I will be moving out of ipage this summer, and get whatever kind of refund I can get(wonder if they'll give it to me it says anytime money back guarantee)....I think I will be moving with godaddy, at-least there fast.

You have to use their templates to build your site, and they are very limited. The store front was hard to use, and they were not willing to work with you! When you cancel they charge you for 'Domain credit' which is not refundable...that is absurd! The great rating is from their own employees, so do not be fooled!

First, I was confused a little bit because in their Control Panel iPage offers several different web site builders. And I selected wrong one - it was confusing and not that user friendly. After I called support they recommended their drag-and-drop tool and I was blown away! I have little experience in web design, so its perfect for me. I can make and changes to my site on my own and its fun actually. BTW, support people at iPage are really friendly. Thanks guys!

I'm starting my own business and I was looking for the best value for my hosting needs. After reviewing good number of hosting companies and many-many different hosting plans I came to conclusion that iPage is one of the best values. First of all price is really competitive. I found that some companies offer 3 or 6 months free, but after that they charge that much that in few months you will pay more than with iPage for the whole year. Secondly, they have one plan that fits all my needs. Some other companies have so many different plans so I couldn't figure out what plan would work for me. Simplicity, low price - that's what I like about my web host.

I thought this would be a nice site. Easy, cheap and just what I was looking for to start up something new. It was all fine, except my page never got put up, they charged my Bank Account two times, causing me 3 NSF charges @ $35.00 a pop! Their response is "our policy is that we do not refund for NFS" even though they are the ones that caused it! Being on unemployment I was lucky enough to have $62.00 in my account, but when they charged me my first $42.00 NO PROBLEM totally covered, then the same day they charged $42.00 more, NSF # 1. Then my two USPS postage charges for $4.80 each tried to go through 2 MORE NSF's! BS!!!!!! THEY DID NOT CARE - I WOULD REALLY REALLY BE CAUTIOUS OF THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE IN CANADA SO (not that I don't like Canada) but just keep in mind they are not in the UNITED STATES!

I have had a great experience with my new website. The price is more than reasonable.

Pleasantly surprised by this web host. Ipage provides plenty of tools and features at such a low price. And you don't have to commit for 4-5 years like with other ones. I signed up for 1 year term and still paid lowest price plus free domain on top. Cant beat that.

I have had a great experience dealing with iPage. Their staff is friendly and professional. Couple times I've called them I got excellent service. Their control panel is user friendly as well - I really enjoy the navigation and tools it provides. And the last but not the least - iPage is environment friendly too. It appears they are offsetting their carbon foot print by investing into wind energy - very noble thing to do. I wish more companies would be that responsible.
