Startlogic attracts you with what seems like a good price, but their tech support is horrible. There are better more and more reliable solutions out there..use them!

I have exhausted myself trying to sort them out. I have been a customer of Startlogic for 3 years. They used to be great. Now they are the source of all of my stress, I have lost clients and revenue due to their new improved platform. Expect to spend at least an hour waiting to get service. Expect vague unclear answers. Expect your sites to take 1000% longer to load then they shoud. This is not an exageration. They will speak down to you while not actually knowing what they are talking about. Awful awful awful. If you use SQL, even more so. I am going to eat a few grand jumping to a new host. I will lose more if I do not. Also make sure you change your CC info as they will automatically renew and bill you. STAY CLEAR OF THEM They also run IPowerWeb and BlueDomino. Same support and servers...so stay away from them also. I cannot stress enough how bad they are. BAD BAD Startlogic is made of FAIL!

They were a great company before the vdeck change. Now on hold for HOURS for tech support and then can't answer an out of the ordinary question, or anything to do with the shopping cart. Terrible support.

After trying to get the same simple problem fixed for two weeks, I tried to terminate my account. After talking with the useless support tech for an hour and getting nowhere, I mysteriously get disconnected from the chat. Startlogic just sucks, hands down. Their service sucks and their support sucks.

Poor qualified support & too much down time. STAY AWAY! Today is 3/9/2008 as of right now my ecommerce site has been down for 3 days with no relief in site. The site went down after STARTLOGIC screwed up thier ASP software. My data file is not able to access the server. I have lost more than $2000.00 to date and counting. after my 6th phone call and 2 hours of wait time, I was told on Saturday that no one would fix the problem until Monday. I asked why and all indications are that there tier three support does not work on the weekend. I told them I was losing $50 per hour but they did not seem to really care about my loss. Prior to this problem, a month ago, my site was down 3 hours per day for about three weeks. After 10 calls and 20 plus emails they finally found a tech in Canada who fixed the problem. I left seanic.net because their server was a little slow; but they did have outstanding customer support. I wish I had never moved to STARTLOGIC.
