I had a website with VistaPages two years ago. I decided to cancel the service and move my domain to another company a year ago. They hold my domain and didn't release it to another company. I asked VistaPages to cancel my account before it was expired, but I got renewal invoice and they billed it to my credit card. This year I received their invoice again!!! Once you had a service with them, you could not cancel it anymore. they will send you bill, regardless you still want it or not. Your domain could not transfer to other companies, since they put Kaumil Patel as domain registrant, not your name. After I had this nightmare with VistaPages, I was very careful to choose a web hosting provider. First thing I will make sure domain is under my name and get a password for the domain name, so I can transfer my domain if I want to. Advise to VistaPages customers, check if the domain is belong to you. It might be that you pay for the domain name which is not belong to you.

After 2 weeks of struggling to upload my files on their server, I asked for my money back. They ignored my request. I am still waiting for my money back. I see they now have removed their 30day money back gauranteed. Seems like its run by one guy out of a basement, though shows a picture of a big tall building. I think its time someone pay this guy a visit. Seems he has been ripping off to many people now. He probably dont use his real name either. Has different names for support and sales, and a false address, but sure someone can find him.

Don't fall for the money back gaurantee. They will give you lousy service and keep your money. This guy is running this company out of his basement. Only one person ever answers the phone. Call them a couple of times and you will see. Not worth it.

WARNING!!!!!!DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!! They are a bunch of scam artist. They do not honor 30 day money back guarantee. Customer support (Josh, he is the only one who answered the phone in the 30 times or more that I called) doesn't know anything and you can never speak to a manager because they don't exist!!!!!!

This is the worst hosting company I've ever dealt with. For the first, their servers are very weak, they are down 10 hours a week. They don't provide with any kind of support and if you are lucky and they answer your calls or letters, they are unpolite and don't even understand you and your problem. And the last but not the least - they never pay the affiliate commissions. I've refered some customers to them, have earned 280 USD and they tell me that the check is sent, they tell it for the last 2 months already!!! But there isn't any check at all. I haven't still got the check for the commission. They just lie telling that they have sent it, but it is impossible that a letter can't get to my address for that 2 months, I'm getting letters from the USA and Canada in not more than 2 weeks. Conclusion - terrible servers and support, liers, fraud and scamers. Be aware of them!
