BlueFish has Changed (for the worse).


I've used BF since 2005. As the others have stated, everything was great until the last few months. I think the business may have been sold. It was in St. George, UT but now seems to be based in Orem, UT (about a 300 mile move). NO one ever answers the phone - no matter when you call (sales, support, nothing...) You also never get a phone call or email back. I've been trying to get a minor problem fixed for 3 days. No response from BlueFish. BEWARE! I will probably switch hosts soon.

Email down for weeks.


I have been using them for the past three years with no comlpaint. But ever since they have done some upgrades I give them a "F"Grade. My email has been up down for 4 weeks now. My customers are calling and wanting to know if I am going out of business. I leave messages with tech suppot and they go unreturned. I leave emails from another account askeing them to call with updates and nothing.

I've been with Buefish Hosting for 3 years, going on 4th. Their support was excellent in the beginning, but now it's the worst I've ever experienced with anyone. They renewed me without my consent and charged my credit card without my consent. That's okay because I will need some time to find a different host, but next year, I will definitely cut all ties with Bluefish.

Totally Agree with David.


I totally agree with everything you say and glad it is not just me. Unfortunately I had just renewed but may very well look to transfer my business. They went from very reliable and helpful to just the opposite in the last couple of months. The last time I called I was on hold for 20 minutes and then told to leave a message. Messages are never answered. I just did a rollout of a new site and am embarrassed that half the time it is down! They had sent an e-mail that they were going to a new platform and then sent nothing further ... I finally found the new control panel and it is very confusing.

gone to s**t.


I used Bluefish for many years and if i was writing this a couple of years ago, i would have nothing bad to say about them. In the last few weeks during a so called "upgrade" my site was completely destroyed. my databases left on old platform. no personal replies to numerous emails and voicemail messages. Tickets that were forwarded to some other company were handled and closed without any communication with me to let them know if the problem was actually resolved. Now i have most of my site (i.e. business) back but only after weeks of nothing but server errors. There are still major PHP problems but at this point they seem to be ignoring me. I have to relocate. never use Bluefish.
