5 Star Quality and Service
"After poor experiences with an ultra low cost hosting provider, I switched one of my company's websites over to Inmotion Hosting. After being disappointed last time, I wanted to "test the waters" with our new host before committing fully. I found a few reviews on Inmotion Hosting and decided to give them a try. After moving our site to their services, browsing performance immediately improved. Their SQL services are very fast. We're running a Drupal CMS and the data access and page generation moves very quickly. We haven't had any down time that we've noticed. I've contacted support a few times now and each time I get a friendly, technically savvy person who helps me with my problem or question in just a few minutes. Control panel access/browsing is quick. We're planning on moving the rest of our sites to their services in the near future. I feel like we've finally found a high quality, lower-cost hosting provider that we can depend on."

Surprised at all the positives
"I am shocked that InMotion is so highly rated here, as I came on this website looking for someone to replace them. In the past three months, I've been hacked several times. I wasn't notified any of the times; I discovered when I contacted THEM because my site was down. They had taken it down with ZERO contact. I rebuilt everything with the latest versions of WordPress and ZenPhoto and complete deleted things I hadn't used for a while. Hacked again. Customer service told me it was because I had to update everything, which I had already done. Cleaned everything up, again. Hacked again, and despite my being overseas and telling them, they said nothing they could do, I had to rebuild. Argh. Meanwhile, since almost day one, they periodically shut down my site, because they say I use IMAP too frequently. Two email accounts checked with my computer and my phone and that's too much traffic? What the heck? (I pay for the business plan, even though it's a personal site. I can't imagine how small businesses are managing this crazy email situation.) I've repeatedly asked for help in managing SPAM, which I imagine is part of the problem. Again, they've offered no help. They never got back to me when I pointed out that none of the SPAM Assassin settings seemed to change the flow at all. They said they would test and nothing. I guess they are good when it's setting up a new site and helping on basic issues. But, as soon as there are problems, you're on your own, and TOO OFTEN, they'll shut you down with no notice."
