Hard to express how inept this company is!!!
" We don't even do any difficult stuff. Very simple website, mostly emails. I dare say that not a single week goes by without some problem requiring at least an hour of phone time with "tech" people who have no idea why our account has been changed to the parked domain, or why it somehow was parked on one of the partners personal accounts. Constantly changing security measures probably make it impossible to hack into our website, unfortunately it also makes it impossible for us to do any work. Which is why we have this stupid companies services. Pretty much all of our employees have reverted back to using their personal Gmail Accounts because Hostmonster cannot provide any sense of reliability. So in summary, I, who have little real knowledge of web servers etc. could probably run this company better."

Good only for small projects
"I am using hostmonter for 6 months. Everything was OK. Now I installed wiki and got cpu throttling 5-30 second per hour. As I was going to install forum in addition, I applied to hostmonster team. They proposed me high cpu server for $19. After moving I had cpu throttling 500-1500 second per hour. Even after removing wiki and DB I had cpu throttling 30 second per hour. I asked support for help, but nobody even tried to fix something. So $19 server is much more worse than $6 server. Resume: If your project is small, hostmonster is good for you. Otherwise, you should search something else. And advice, do not buy $19 server at hostmonster. It is cheating, move instead to dedicated server. "

Hostmonster - 10 thumbs up!
"I have been using Hostmonster for 3 - 4 years now, and very rarely had an issue. Every time i have had one, i either phone them, or use their live chat feature, and it is always fixed quickly! I host multiple domains, e-commerce, forums (smf, vBulletin, phpbb), all with no troubles at all. Software always either up to date, or available for me to update myself through CPanel. CPanel interface is VERY easy to use. I would not hesitate to recommend Hostmonster to ANYONE, based on my experience over the last 3 or 4 years! Great work Hostmonster, keep things improving!"

Dismal
"Three days after signing up, I still couldn't access my domain. Tech support was unhelpful and made a lot of excuses. When I asked how long I would have to wait, they said maybe a day, maybe a week. Unbelievable bad service."

I loved Hostmonster
"I'm not really sure where all this negativity is coming from, but I used Hostmonster for two years and absolutely LOVED them. I am now in the process of looking for a new hosting company ONLY because I cannot afford their $5.95 a month right now because I am on unemployment. Every time I had a problem (and not so much to do with their system as it was to do with my inability to perform) they got back to me like ASAP. I highly recommend then and wish I could stay here, but just can't afford to spend that much this time around. BUT if my business picks up and next year looks better, I'm coming back!
