All downhill since the takeover
"Apollo Hosting customer for more than five (5) years. Received no notification that they had been purchased by Endurance, or that I was being migrated to a new platform. Have had multiple problems since then. Now, I cannot use SFTP either in Dreamweaver or WS_FTP (although both worked fine before). They tested using only two free clients: FileZilla and CoffeeCup. New control panel sucks big time. Tech support is worse. Everything is worse! Will probably switch to another Web hosting provider very soon. "

terrible long time experience
"Have been with Apollo sadly for 3-4 years now, it started Ok but went down every year, first they dont pay attention to PHP and SQL versions, unless you call and ask, always outdated stuff, tech support used to be better but now it is some fricking India , I like people in India and love Indian food, but when it comes to tech support or customer service, .... you know what I am talking about. SSl certificate took forever to get installed, email server errors are very frequent, downtime is as regular as your bm, my site is on VPS and I see more problems than shared hosting, paying 80.00/month for horrible service. I am looking at options to get out I had enough. Migration was a nightmare and now it is down as we speak. website inaccessible for two days thats some host! Would not recommend it at all, Stinks!"

WORST COMPANY I EVER DEALT WITH, PERIOD.
"My decision to use Apollo hosting was the single worst decision I have made in my professional career. When I first started with them about 7 years ago, the support was decent and I had few problems. Over the past 5 years, I have had one problem after the next – all due to poor customer service or problems with their servers. I kept telling myself each time we had an issue – whether it being our online shopping cart mysteriously stopping to work or our website going offline inexplicably – that what else could possibly go wrong. I told myself that my website is up, everything is configured correctly, the forms all work, the shopping cart (miva merchant) works, what else could go wrong, I thought. I was wrong again and again. Finally, I had enough and left, but not until their incompetence cost my business approximately $15,000 in lost sales revenue. They just got bought out by another company & just when I thought that things couldn’t get worse, once again,wrong!"

Apollo hosting was taken over by ipower
"Please see my apollo hosting review. Apollo hosting taken over by ipower and when you call the reputation of ipower is so bad that apollo wont even tell you who took them over. This is any website owner's worst nightmear. Apollo is no longer, its just a useless brand because ipower is running them. This is why the recent reviews look really bad and the bottom reviews look good because apollo hosting was a good company but the owner sold his soul for a chunck of cash when he sold to ipower which has never had good reviews. As you can see from the other users our sites have been down four days. Cost to me is 32k per day in lost leads only. Please do yourself a favor and run with your business from the apollo hosting reviews and ipower reviews. The worst experience I have had in 22 years in business. Apollo hosting reviews by a very upset ex client. "

Inept
" Apollo migrated to new servers and completely messed up the process. Sites down for days. Avoid this host."
