
Double bills and blames outside telemarketer
"I had been overall happy with 1&1 had a few smaller issues but worked through that. I have since been billed a couple of times for service I never signed up for nor wanted. When I called today to find out why the extra billing I was told "oh we had a problem with an outside telemarketer signing people up for more services." Well to me that's a red flag you have a problem and should work with customers to fix it ASAP istead of billing them for the service. In the last 4 months I have been billed $120 for a service I never wanted or agreed to. When I called to find out why I was being billed I was told they had to escalate my issue to management who would review everyhting. This could take a day or two (which had me mad). Then I was placed on hold and sent to tech support who then transferred me back to billing. I was told by this billing agent it would be 2-3 WEEKS before they could figure out what happened. So they are holding my money (and many other's I am sure) gaining interest and screwing up their customers accounts along the way. As a "Sorry" I was offered 1 month free ($12.99) I said no thanks I want my money back not one month free I expect more than that. I work in sales, if a customer has a complaint we fix the complaint quickly with a credit and offer free product in return at ths same value of the credit. I would really watch your bills with 1&1 they try to sneak things through, varyring the months you see a bill hoping you will not notice you already paid for 3 months of service" |

WORST service EVER
"It's like i thrown my money in the trash can. Customer Service and support does not exist. Ton s of technical problems and difficulties in their system. once you place your order nobody even answers anymore. If you sign up with them you will be regret VERY SOON. " |

Stay Away
"Do not use 1and1. Technical support is based in the Philippines and is completely useless. I asked for a simple restore from backup on my files and they have yet to do it. I am barely able to understand the strong foreign accents. They have no U.S. based support. Good luck!" |

"As a former 1&1 user, I agree with the many reviews warning everyone to STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I have had billing discrepancies, still to be resolved, which many have labelled as 'pure fraud'. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. Seriously. " |
